International School Moshi Library

Students, parents, teachers and staff are invited to use the School Library for browsing, recreational reading, and research. Materials available in the Library include books, magazines and newspapers for students from kindergarten to D2, a developing Teacher's Resource collection, and 3 computers with a library catalogue and full Internet access. All students have many opportunities to use the library throughout the school year.

The ISM Library is open Mon - Thur 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, and Fridays from 7:30 - 4:00. Primary classes have a weekly story time or lesson with the librarian, but can also arrange additional visits to the library. The Primary library curriculum includes lessons on proper use of the library, search and location skills, and research sources and techniques. Middle School and Diploma teachers schedule their classes into the library for lessons and research as needed to satisfy their individual curriculum requirements, but are also encouraged to collaborate with the librarian to assist these classes.

Students may also use the library for research, free reading and book selection before and after school and during morning break, lunch times and Guidance Hour periods.
